Young Farmers bingo helps ARC

AN Axminster Young Farmers’ bingo night at Cloakham Lawn Sports Centre has raised close to £400 for local charity ARC.

A cheque for the exact amount of £370.73 was presented to ARC founder Catherine Davies.

Alice Gay of Axminster Young Farmers said: “Catherine gave us a very interesting talk on the local charity which has helped a very large number of people in the local community.”

ARC provides a counselling service helping people through difficult and challenging times of profound change and loss. Referrals are made through Axminster Medical Practice.
