Fun for all the family at 127th annual Honiton Show

DESPITE some awful weather leading up to the event, the 127th Honiton Show was once again a success as thousands of visitors flocked to the showground.

This year saw the usual mix of trade stands, ring events and, of course, the animal judging.

One of the best one-day shows in the country, the Honiton Show sees visitors from across the county show off their animals in the hopes of winning a rosette.

Show President Lt. Cdr Tuke (ret’d) said: “I have always been impressed with the hard work, energy and professionalism devoted to the planning and preparation of this enormous East Devon event by all those involved – from the council, the management committee, the police and other government authorities to the myriad of officers and staff required on the day – to make the show the great display of agriculture and related activity that it has become.”
